Can Parrots learn NOT to say bad words once they know them?
Two days ago I rescued a 6 year old Quaker. He is a delightful little bird. Unfortunately I learned this evening he has a vocabulary of bad words. I also have young children. Is it possible to “un-teach” bad language in a Quaker? How?

Bird careers…you have one? Have advice on any?
I am owned by 3 parrots and volunteer at a bird rescue. I am a high school student, I do school online.
I am researching what kind of career I’d like to have, and whatever it is I really want it to be centered around birds – NOT breeding though.
I’ve considered being an ornithologist, but I am not strong in math or any science except biology. For these same reasons I don’t think being an avian vet would work.
Ideally I’d love to run a parrot rescue/sanctuary, but that’s not exactly a career. Bird boarding was another idea, but that alone might not support me/my birds. I’ve considered opening up a bird supply shop (maybe even doing it online).
One of my biggest strengths is writing, but I don’t see how that ties in very well.
If anyone has a career with birds and/or has any advice, please reply with your suggestions.
