  green cheek conure….why would you buy a bird if you don’t even know what kind it is?

  I can’t imagine buying a bird without knowing what it is and how to care for it. You should have gotten a lot of information from the seller. You also should have done all your research before even bringing it home. Now you are going to have to play catch up very fast. I’m pretty sure it is a Green Cheek Conure. In any case, it is a Conure and this article should get you started.

  You also need to read the information on these sites quickly and make sure you don’t have, or use, any of these items or you will have a dead bird before you know what happened. Also do a search to learn about proper diet. It can’t live on just seeds. You will need to feed it fresh fruits, veggies, leafy greens and lots of other people type foods to keep it healthy.
